About HKSALS
Our purpose
We believe secondary students should have meaningful opportunities to engage with law through scholarship, discussion, publication, competition, outreach, and collaboration.
Our work is designed to foster professionalism, responsibility, discipline, and intellectual seriousness while opening pathways toward tertiary legal studies.
2026–2027 Executive Committee
Led jointly by Chairman Anthony Choy and Chairlady Alison Lee, the Executive Committee directs the association’s scholarship, operations, outreach, and publications.
Chairman & Co-founder
A Form 5 / Grade 11 / Year 12 student at St. Paul’s Co-educational College. Anthony co-founded HKSALS with Alison to build a substantive legal community for secondary students, centred on meaningful research, publications, and events.
Chairlady & Co-founder
A Form 5 / Grade 11 student at St. Paul’s Co-educational College. Alison serves as Chairlady alongside Anthony and enjoys dancing and drawing in her free time.
General Secretary
An avid debater and researcher with a long-standing interest in law, from international disputes and defamation to criminal and family law. Pranjal brings rigorous research and curiosity to the association.
Financial Secretary
A Grade 11 / Form 5 student at St. Paul’s Co-educational College. Austin oversees HKSALS’s finances and, outside academic study, enjoys golf and hiking local trails.
Internal Affairs Director
Felicity leads internal affairs and helps coordinate the association’s people and operations. Her enthusiasm for law is driven by the possibilities of a fair and effective legal system.
External Affairs Director
A Form 5 / Year 12 / Grade 11 student from Ying Wa College. Matthew bridges the team with the wider community, builds relationships, and supports HKSALS’s mission through external collaboration.
Editor-in-Chief
A Form 5 / Grade 11 student at St. Paul’s Co-educational College. Emily leads the association’s editorial work and is an enthusiastic reader alongside her IB studies.
Head of Publicity
A Form 5 / Grade 11 / Year 12 student at True Light Girls’ College. Alyssa leads HKSALS publicity and enjoys learning guitar and playing Roblox in her free time.
